Sustainable Innovation with Hot AC Anodizing
In 1997 Speira received the ISO 14001 environmental certificate as the first coil coater in the world. Our hot AC anodizing is an environmentally friendly electrochemical cleaning process where the hot electrolyte solution effectively degreases the strip, resulting in a clean surface with excellent adhesion properties. Unlike traditional methods, the Hot AC anodising process has no issues with effluent treatment. It’s free from heavy metals, toxins, and carcinogens. The electrolyte is continuously cleaned and reused, making it highly eco-friendly and efficient.

The new Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX) in Copenhagen is a stunning example of sustainable architecture for modern educational facilities. Our TECTURA Coated sheets were the ideal solution for the striking façade. Produced using 40% external recycled aluminium, the material balances aesthetic appeal with durability and sustainability. The iconic "Spicy Red" coating not only enhances the building’s vibrant presence but also contributes to its energy efficiency by regulating temperature and providing UV resistance.
